The National Draughts Federation of the USA was established by people who support draughts and checkers as an intellectual game and an intellectual sport in order to popularize it within the United States. NFD-USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that holds competitions, lectures, simultaneous games sessions and other activities that help developing draughts among children and adults with the aim of their spiritual and intellectual development. 

Training new generations of players who are capable of adequately competing for the highest world titles in international championships is also one of the goals of the NDF-USA. Among members we have players of different levels — from beginners to National, European, Pan American Championships winners and World Championship winners. Experienced coaches, sport referees and organizers are also members of our team.
